Gang Bang Comics Review

At first glance, Gangbang Comics seems fairly straight forward. The site promises the dirtiest and kinkiest action and it seems reasonable to assume that the main theme of these toons is going to be delectably decadent group scenarios that take the gangbang fantasy further than perhaps any site with real-life actors could. Pushing the boundaries of the imaginable has always been something I've found enticing about comics and since the site also promises exclusive content, I'm eager to dive right in.

The first problem I encounter when I login to GangbangComics is trying to differentiate between the exclusive and non-exclusive portions of this site. There are a few different categories including 3D Comics and Toons, Artist Archives and Adult Artworks, Comics and Cartoons, Gay and Shemale and Manga and Hentai, but non of the descriptions leads me in the direction of uniquely exclusive works. At the bottom of the members' page are links to member submitted art and erotic stories and I think it's safe to say that these sections contain original material, but otherwise it seems like the actual content comes from different sources.

Whether exclusive, non-exclusive or a combination of both, the one certain thing is that you get access to quite a bit of content. Bonuses include extra galleries, sites like PornFlat and AnimeVideoArchive, games, plugins, some videos and Flash toons and there is also a forum with chat and discussion threads on a variety of topics in the forum, even one where you can make suggestions and requests. While the extras are always nice, the site itself isn't exactly devoid of content.

The main menu features five categories plus the bonuses. Navigating through the galleries is a trying experience. You can search by sorting the galleries alphabetically by title or by update, but each one only features 12 sets of toons per page and there can be over a hundred pages with no way of jumping from page number one to page 100. It's really a lousy system for this much content and it's the one area in most need of improvement. So far there are 220 3D, 1,310 manga and hentai,1,954 comics and cartoons, 746 artist archives and artworks and 123 gay and shemale toon galleries. This doesn't include the amount of bonus content, but just know that the bonuses add a whole lot more to the mix.

Overall, I was very impressed. If you can think of a fetish or a fantasy genre, then it's most certainly here. The artwork can be spectacular, but in an archive this huge you'll also come across some less impressive work. Styles vary widely and so I can't really give you an impression of it in one word. There are the obvious manga and hentai styles, there are a few superhero and retro-looking galleries and more or less realistic artwork, albeit with characters who are mighty well-endowed. The number of panels in a gallery really depends on the type of toons, but images are roughly 1200x785, although sizes do vary. The good news is that all the sets are full and they seem complete to me and you can either view them in a slideshow or download them in Zip files.

Did I mention that there aren't any featured videos? This is a toon and comic site and while videos are offered as bonuses, they aren't the main draw. You will find comic series like "Submissive Suzanne" by Wegen Gunther von, but plenty of stand alone titles as well and from artists like Luis Royo and Hajime Sorayama, for example. The problem is that despite the name of the site, if there is a lot of gangbang action, good luck trying to browse through the galleries to find it. I cannot emphasize enough the need for improved navigation on Gangbang Comics.

Final Verdict

Often, when I come across comic and toon sites, I'm left feeling disappointed. While there is no doubt that this site needs to improve organization and search features, you can't really beat the amount of content available and even better the talent of some truly unique artists. There is a lot here that isn't exactly exclusive, but there are also exclusive galleries, which certainly make this a more attractive membership than some similar sites. Some of the text in comic series is in the original language of the artist, which can be German or Japanese in different cases, but most of the time you'll come across English-language dialogue bubbles and descriptions. All in all, Gangbang Comics is a worthy trip for those who enjoy fetish, fantasy and fantastical sex.
